1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at orchidmisteq.life or booking services with orchidmisteq, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and orchidmisteq. You must be at least 18 years of age to book services independently. Individuals under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Service Description

orchidmisteq provides traditional Thai massage therapy services in Miaoli, Taiwan. Our services include:

• Tension Relief Focus Sessions
• Hot Stone and Thai Combination treatments
• Back and Spine Focused treatments

Services are provided by trained practitioners and are intended for relaxation, tension relief, and general wellness. Our services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

4. Booking and Scheduling

4.1 Making Appointments

Appointments can be made by phone, email, or through our website contact form. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation from our staff.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session price. No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full session fee.

4.3 Late Arrivals

Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled session. Late arrivals may result in shortened session time to avoid disrupting subsequent appointments. The full session fee still applies.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in Taiwan Dollars (TWD) and are subject to change. Current pricing is available on our website and will be confirmed when you book.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment by cash or bank transfer. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are provided at our discretion in cases where a session could not be completed due to circumstances within our control. Sessions canceled by the client according to our cancellation policy are not eligible for refunds but may be rescheduled.

6. Client Responsibilities

When receiving services from orchidmisteq, you agree to:

• Provide accurate health information and disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns that may affect the session
• Inform the practitioner immediately if you experience discomfort or pain during the session
• Follow pre-session instructions provided by practitioners
• Respect practitioners and maintain appropriate conduct during sessions
• Arrive in clean condition and avoid wearing strong fragrances
• Refrain from being under the influence of alcohol or recreational substances during sessions

7. Health and Safety

7.1 Medical Disclaimer

Thai massage therapy is intended for relaxation and general wellness. It is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare advice. You should consult with a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any massage therapy if you have medical conditions or concerns.

7.2 Contraindications

Certain conditions may make massage therapy inadvisable. Please inform us if you have any of the following:

• Recent surgery or injuries
• Contagious skin conditions or infections
• Acute inflammation or fever
• Severe cardiovascular conditions
• Pregnancy (first trimester)
• Blood clotting disorders

7.3 Informed Consent

By booking a session, you acknowledge that you have been informed of the nature of Thai massage therapy and consent to receive treatment. You may withdraw consent and discontinue the session at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Taiwan law, orchidmisteq and its practitioners shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of our services
• Injuries resulting from failure to disclose relevant health information
• Adverse reactions to treatment when proper health history was not provided
• Loss or damage to personal property brought to our premises

Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the session in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of orchidmisteq or its content suppliers and is protected by Taiwan and international copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our website content without express written permission.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of your personal and health information. Our privacy practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

All health information shared during intake and sessions is kept confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent, except as required by law.

11. Code of Conduct

We maintain a professional environment and expect respectful behavior from all clients:

• Inappropriate behavior, comments, or requests will result in immediate termination of the session without refund
• Harassment or disrespectful treatment of practitioners will not be tolerated
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates our code of conduct

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe:

• Violates these Terms and Conditions
• Is harmful to other clients or our practitioners
• Violates applicable laws or regulations
• Poses a health or safety risk

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Taiwan, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Miaoli County, Taiwan.
